This is a variation of the common 2 over 2 chest. As I made this piece, starting with a set of drawers from an Edwardian chest, I decided it had to be different. So I changed its configuration to a 2 between 2 and added 2 cast iron Singer sewing machine ends just to make it interesting. The carcass was bespoke and made from reclaimed wood and the top is a solid oak centre section from a Victorian drop-leaf table. Measurements: 76cms high x 105cms wide x 52cms deep.
